Zunnar from A Little Time tagged me and I can never refuse his requests so here goes:
Here are the rules:1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog
2. Share seven facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird
3. Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
Seven Facts
1. I once thought that liverwurst topped with gobs of mayo between pasty white bread was manna from heaven.
2. I cannot bear to wear a watch. Never have and never will. For one, I cannot stand anything weighing and pressing down on my wrists and for another, I meet the most interesting people by asking them the time.
3. To continue the time theme, I really believe I can beat time. For example, today. I have an appt. from 2-3, I will run to pick up The Boy, we will immediately rush to go to his doctor's office for a 4 appt. (and I'm banking on it taking only an hour) and then off to his 5:30 class. After that, he goes to Scouts at 6:30. Somewhere during this juggernaut, I'm planning on getting gas, dropping off pictures, grabbing some food and getting some paperwork together. I made that schedule thinking it will all work seamlessly. We shall see.....
4. I LOVE painting rooms. Not faux finishes or fancy-pants painting (although I love that too) but the actual art of rolling regular paint on walls. I get very Zen as I'm rolling back and forth and checking the walls for imperfections. Sanding and spackling--all of it but taping. If I could learn to paint faster, I'd do it as a side job.
5. I'm a Coke snob now. I never knew the difference between Coke, Pepsi, RC. But due to the influence of a dear friend, I now have actually left a restaurant if they carry only the vile Pepsi.
6. I have a bunch of journals that I've kept since about 13. I stored them in a drawer and always thought I wanted to keep them forever. But lately I've been reading them and have conflicting thoughts. I think I want to totally break with the past and I'm thinking about destroying them. Six months ago, I would have never, ever entertained the idea.
7. I feel like a grown up for the first time in my life.
In the spirit of the meme, I tag (and this goes for nonbloggers, too):
...why paisley, Jay, Miss Britt, Brooklyn Brawler, Ian Spaulding, Spinzil, Karen B. and Rocco.
HAVE FUN!

It's so good to see you out and about again. Just stopped by to say hi and great answers on this Meme. I like to try and beat time too but I'm rarely successful.
Gypsy, don't give up on me. Not yet! I am going to email you later...
you are such a darling for thinking of me... what on earth makes you think i have seven things about me i have yet to publish on my blog??
dont you dare destroy those journals.. i have done that so many times and i have lived to regret it each time....
Since I don't have a blog, I have to list my 7 facts on your blog. Do I need to pay rent?
1. I enjoy peanut butter and banana sandwiches (on fresh bread, with nothing else and always uncooked)
2. I have an irrational disdain for library books.
3. I had a huge crush on my best friend's girlfriend in high school.
4. I played 2 years of high school football and never made a tackle.
5. I hate talk radio.
6. I like both NY baseball teams.
7. My friends and I did a dine and dash, just to see if we could do it. It worked, then we all felt bad. We did leave a tip for the waitress.
eeewwww You lost me after that liverwurst thing.
Great to see you back though.
Don't throw out the journals. Put them in storage or give them to a friend for holding. They are a piece of you. Despite some bad, I would have loved to have that piece of my mom or dad.
Welcome to the Coke bandwagon. Am I correct in assuming "he" got to you, too? Yep, I resisted, but I learned.
I am honored by your request. I am not sure why you'd want to get my answers, but here they are:
1-I like pro wrestling. I don't believe it, but I love the theater and the athleticism.
2-I totally enjoy a nice long drive, especially on quiet highways at night. Like your painting, it becomes an experience for me.
3-I watch hockey for fights and auto racing for accidents.
4-I love young puppies. I have one named Hammer.
5-My favorite color is green. The shades change with my moods, but any one is good.
6-I know nothing about cars or computers, but I am excellent at minor home repairs.
7-I am having a major conflict within myself. I make decent money doing something I don't really like. I don't hate it, but it is not what I want to do. I sometimes feel like I have settled.
Thanks for asking. I hope I didn't disappoint you or your great readers.
Ive kept all of my journals since I was 9 too. I will not get rid of them. I need them for my book.
I hate painting. Will you paint my place? It's just a 1 bedroom apartment.
I'm a liverwurst slathered with ketchup between two slices of fluffy-soft Wonderbread kinda guy...
(sorry Tammy)
Coke beats Pepsi hands down. Smart girl, Brenda Starr.
OK Ms. Brenda Starr. I did mine, but I bailed out on naming 7 other people. I don't really know that many here. I'm sociably challanged...
I'm with Paisley. Don't throw away the journals. Oh, and I like liverwurst too but hold the mayo.
Ive kept all of my journals since I was NINE....and you cant PAY me any amount of money to throw them out. or get rid of them. No. Way.
I love looking back to see how far Ive come.
and...most of those entries from my 20's will be used in the book I am writing.
I can understand wanting to 'break free' of your past...but throwing out your journals, doesn't mean your past didn't happen.
and your memory may play tricks on you.
I say better to keep the hard evidence.
xxoo xxoo
How about sweet potato sandwiches?
Okay, what is the difference between Coke and Pepsi? I don't get the fuss.
I'm with you on the watch, but not on the liverwurst or the painting. I agree about Coke, but I will drink Pepsi if I have to.
Gobs of mayo can make almost anything taste good. Mayo over Miracle Whip any day though.
Hi Brenda,
Hey, we have similar fact. I hate wearing watch too.
I could see a great race with time, beat it but don't get yourself into stress.
I like to paint too, I love the end result, a lovely new colour, but I hate to do the preparation before painting, I really hate it. And I hate to clean after painting.
I've thrown away my journals a couple of years ago, one of it containing my first love story. Why not publish your journal in a blog?
Btw, thanks for participating in this meme :)
Just stumbled upon you. Great stuff!
